San Salvador, June 3, 2025 — More than 70 people gathered in El Salvador to participate in the event organized by Fundación del Valle, ACTEC, and Linares Abogados, with the support of FUSAI as a local partner, within the framework of the MBA Acelera program. The event offered a unique space to reflect, share, and build real solutions to the challenge of economic inclusion, focusing on strengthening micro and small enterprises (MYPEs).
A Model for Local Transformation
The meeting began with an analysis of the Salvadoran context of MYPEs, led by Francisco Góchez, representative of Banco Integral. From there, the MBA Acelera model was presented as an innovative solution based on practical training, individualized mentoring, and contextualized technical support.
This model, promoted by the Belgian NGO ACTEC and present in Guatemala, Colombia, Kenya, and El Salvador, has already benefited more than 6,000 people, especially women, youth, and rural communities. Its objective: to accelerate purpose-driven entrepreneurship, strengthening economic leadership from the territories.

A Participatory and Multi-sectoral Agenda
During the event, panels were held with international and national experts, presentations of local implementation experiences, discussions with entrepreneurs who have participated in the program, and a business fair open to the community, with networking and exchange opportunities.
The active participation of representatives from the private sector, authorities, academia, NGOs, and international cooperation organizations consolidated the event as a key milestone for advancing towards a truly inclusive economic reactivation.
FUSAI: A Partner Committed to the Territory
For more than three years, FUSAI has been implementing the MBA Acelera model in different regions of El Salvador, with tangible results in job creation, business growth, and community empowerment. Their work has been key to adapting the model to local realities and maintaining a people-centered vision.
During the event, testimonies were shared from Salvadoran entrepreneurs who, after participating in the program, have strengthened their technical capacities, improved their income, and expanded their collaboration networks.
Another Step in a Regional Strategy
This event is part of the regional strategy of the MBA Acelera program, which seeks to position Business Schools for Micro-enterprises as an innovative tool for purpose-driven economic development. It is part of the project “Generating applied knowledge for inclusive economic reactivation”, funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
The initiative has already reached more than 17,000 people across three continents and continues to grow thanks to the commitment of its local and international partners.
