“EXCELLENCE – PROFESSIONALISM – SPIRIT OF SERVICE are the founding principles of the MBA Acelera program”
From June 3 to 13, 2018, ACTEC brought together the MBA community in Spain and Brussels with the objective of fostering the collaboration and strengthening process of the program.
The coordinators of the four institutions implementing this transformative program in Guatemala (FUNDAP), El Salvador (FUSAI), and Colombia (INTERACTUAR and CARVAJAL) were able to enrich and deepen their experience, and contribute, under ACTEC’s leadership, to the consolidation of the methodology.
The MBA is a demanding and disruptive program, both for participants and for our partners who implement it in countries of the Global South. To carry out the transformation process of small business owners as effectively as possible, our partners must demonstrate openness, creativity, professionalism, and perseverance. In this endeavor, ACTEC, as founder of the program, has a firm commitment to foster and maintain the level of excellence of its partners, as well as a spirit of collaboration among them, in order to grow the program and achieve the greatest possible impact for our small business owners in the Global South.
In Spain, various visits and meetings were organized for the MBA community, which constituted important sources of inspiration for our program: an exchange session at IESE Business School in Madrid, and a visit and presentation of entrepreneurship training programs at EDEM in Valencia.
In Brussels, numerous meetings, enriched by the stories of our entrepreneurs, allowed us to address the achievements and future challenges of the MBA program. On this occasion, the Head of Cooperation for Colombia at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Concepción Muñoz, was able to appreciate the depth and relevance of the MBA program and meet the members of the community.
